I would really like to sign my software, so people would know it has not been tampered with. And the only way to do that is with a code signing certificate. Unfortunately I do not have such a certificate – therefore I went hunting on Google.
Oh boy – the prices are just insane! Why would anyone purchase a Code Signing Certificate fra Thawte at $299 when you can get it from Tucows for $75 ?!?
Only problem is, I don’t have $75 to spend on a certificate 🙁 And if I did, I would just hate having to pay for it again in 1 years time. So if anyone would like to support my purchase of a certificate please donate to NZB Completion Checker! If enough people donate, I will remove the Adf.ly delay on downloads… for good 🙂
